Use contactless payments on board the bus – Easy and simple.
Contactless payments are convenient when customers want to use Kapp – the new fare capping, you never pay more than 3 rides per day or 9 per week with an adult ticket. Just remember to use the same payment method; the same payment card or the same phone/device.
Customers who use a period pass or ticket in the app must ensure that the QR code is opened before boarding the bus. When the QR code is opened in the app, the phone screen should lock. However, on certain Android phones, the screen does not always lock as intended. In those cases, the phone’s wallet may take over and process a contactless payment instead. We are working on a solution. In the meantime, Android users can, turn off NFC before scanning or transfer their period pass/ticket to a Klapp card or Klapp key chain
We also remind customers to update the app regularly to ensure the latest updates are installed.
